3 new tires - Ugh!

So, I went to get my oil changed Saturday morning. As I was getting ready to checkout, the manager says "you do know you're going to need 3 new tires before winter"....AAAAH!   What blasphemy!   Damnit!  Its almost December - meaning winter will be "anytime now" in OH.

I purchased one tire a few months ago, and had sticker shock - apparently the shithead that had the car before me replaced the stock 16" tires with big giant 17" ones (to go along with the after market rims that he didnt include the key for either!).

The tires are $150 each, installed - assuming I can get the same ones I got last time - KUMO brand perhaps or something similiar (I'm not going outside in the cold to look)

Dang...couldn't be a worse time of year!  Seriously!!

I know, I'm a blog slacker5...it just seems like I've been way busier than normal.

Anyhoo, some big news - Nephew #2 is scheduled to arrive Friday the 13th. I'm way excited - I'll have less time for ya'll for a while though because I'll be helping out with him and Bean #1.

Pinup workshop is Sat. I'm a bit stressed. NOTHING I ordered on-line fit the first go 'round. It all went back. Dresses from Pinupgirlclothing arrived yesterday - not without drama. Their delivery policy stinks - Signature required. Guess what, some people work during the day and can't be home when Fedex delivers. I had to go pickup the package. The glimmer in that was that they just opened a facility 1/2 mile from work, so it was convenient. As soon as I finish this entry, I am going to try on the dresses. I also ordered more stuff from Fredericks on 11/2 - it is nowhere in sight, and their customer service was useless! I re-ordered the same items today and had them Express overnighted for delivery tomorrow. GRRRRR. Something best fit out of this bunch or I will have a coronary.

Work has kept me really really busy - I didnt think I would still be this swamped - fiscal year end is over! Dang! Nevertheless, I am thankful to be busy because the days go quickly.

I'm going to try to get the H1N1 Friday since I'll be taking care of the nephews - I really hope I dont get turned away. I read last weeks clinic refused someone with asthma. It shocked me.
