Yay, County fair time + GRAMMAR SNOB

Yippee, today starts the Fairfield County Rip-off! (aka County Fair).

I think I only went for a few hours last year, so this year I'm going to make up for it.

My sis and I are taking the nephew tomorrow - he's old enough to want to go on rides now with Aunt Schmoo (that's me). Thursday night is the Combine demo derby, and Sat. night is the car demo derby. As for the food, it will be hard not to gain any of my weight back. Maybe I can go "halfsies" with sis on some things - like deep fried pickles with ranch dressing...reeses pieces ice cream parfait...corn dog smothered in mustard...oh good lord I am in trouble! My new skinny jeans might take a beating!

I am a total grammar snob. Poor grammar and spelling make me bonkers - I will not lie! So this is what's been making me nuts....

I spent another Sat. night attempting to assemble the bed I purchased from Walmart.com. Mind you, if something requires assembly, I usually do not buy it. I am terrible at it, and when I see a bag of parts, my brain short circuits. But, because I want my sister and nephew to spend the night with me and NOT on an unstable futon with no bathroom nearby, I sucked it up. At one point last evening, I was ready to torch the mother fucker. My thumb is really really sore from trying to fenagle a screw that WOULD NOT COOPERATE. I threw the son of a bitch across the room (the screw, not my thumb, LOL).

I totally jacked up a thing or two, but I am sure the bed wont collapse, LOL....well, as long as there isnt any funny business going on...ha ha.

Work has been super stressful. I need some time off. I've been saving it all up for when sis has Bean #2 in November. Thank god its a 3 day weekend. I may cave and take a day off next week though, because its the famous Circleville Pumpkin show.

I'm still reeling that my customer "J" bought the pinup workshop for me. I will definitely need the fun and esteem boost that it promises. I just looked and they've picked a location - it would be about as far away as possible, LOL - but definitely snazzy and swanky.

Well, I'm off for now - I really need to do some auctions this weekend, so maybe I'll hit that up.

This my dear friends, would be an absolute DREAM come true for me. When I was younger I wanted to be a fitness model. One of my favorite shows is Americas Next Top Model and I ADORE Project Runway. I am fascinated with fashion and the industry as a whole. Throw in my love of all things vintage and "retro", and this workshop is the perfect match for me.


The cost of the workshop is $250, but I also need clothes and shoes, and most likely a night at the venue (whatever that is determined to be).

I emailed Bombshell Betty earlier today, asking her how many photos one can expect to receive.

I plan on sharing those photos with those that contribute to making this happen for me.
