Hello all:

I am the official poster child for "when it rains it pours."

If my site is down for any amount of time in the upcoming days, read this blog for an update.

Dreamhost (my host) billed their customers over $7.5 MILLION dollars in error on 1/15. They billed me for over 2 YEARS in advance. Almost $300 hit my checking account. Guess what, I dont have $300. It is a nightmare of global proportions for tons of people. Here is the post at their site:

I am on my way to the bank to file a dispute, which may then in turn make it look like I owe money (because of the glitch) - which might in turn, take my site down until its resolved. AT this point I need the $ over the site being up and running, so that's the risk I have chosen to take. I apologize in advance if there is an outage, as I planned on doing an update this weekend.

Yesterday, I was in a panic. It appeared I had lost both of my badges for work. How did I do that! I tore the house apart, the car..nothing. I had to have lost it in the parking lot.

Getting into work took me almost 2 hours. The relief was that I had a voice mail that someone had turned them in the night before (I LOVE YOU WHOMEVER YOU ARE!). Then it took me another 45 minutes to actually locate the badge so I could retrieve it. What a way to end an already shitty week at work.

All week I've had horrible nightmares - one night I woke up covered in sweat. I continue to dream about serial killers (one was very much a Texas Chainsaw Massacre type dream) coming after me. I always remember my dreams vividly - like they are real life. That's not always a good thing. My mom made a good point, that perhaps they are stemming from my fear of my newly found skin cancer. I think she's right. This month is dragging - I wish I could have it removed NOW. I still have to wait 2 weeks :(

I have no energy at all this week. I get home from work and sleep for 2 hours, then go back to bed 2 hours after that and sleep all night. And then I dont want to get out of bed. The work days seem like 12 hours instead of 8. At least I have a 3 day weekend to be a slug. Its also going to be beyond cold this weekend, so I really really really dont want to go anywhere!
