Happy Day after Thanksgiving, ha!
Howdy sweet peeps!
Hope everybody had a super thanksgiving. Mine was weird this year - we celebrated our family dinner last Sunday, so I was left with nothing to do on the actual holiday - a first in my entire life. It felt surreal! One of my friends from work invited me and another gal from work to her house to eat with her hubby, as they weren't going out of town. SWEET, its a date!
We had a great time - we didnt burn the turkey, and everything else was excellent - we made oyster stuffing, and sweet potato casserole - mashed potatoes and gravy (I was in charge of that - big mistake, it was more like pudding than gravy, but it still tasted good!) - green bean casserole (massive farting material, LOL) - cream cheese cracker dip, shrimp cocktail, buffalo cheese dip, Hawaiian rolls, corn - double layer pumpkin pie - I think that's all - quite the feast for 4 people! (technically only 3 1/2 bellies, because one of us was recovering from a touch of the flu).
We watched BORAT (I've never seen it - how funny), and South Park..we started to watch The REaping, but I had to leave because I would have fallen asleep.
I swear, Turkey is natures tranquilizer. I fell asleep for 2 hours when I got home, and felt drugged when I got up..I went back to bed for the night 2 hours after that! Then a gain, I wasnt feeling the best either - I"m trying to catch a cold or sinus thing AGAIN (@#$@###$).
Today I am having lunch with a former employee - turned friend about an hour away. She had a kid about a year ago, and I havent seen them! I'm excited, I miss her. She was always so much fun to work with and be around.
I have quite a bit of homework this weekend (ICK) - what's up with that, what professor does that shit to his class, hello..HOLIDAY WEEKEND!
Tomorrow I"m getting my hair cut - any ideas? If you see a hairstyle on line for long hair, send me a pic. I dont know what to do. I'm just bored to tears with plain long hair - Its just long..no style, and its making me bonkers. I totally want to change it up = something fun. I"m not afraid to go drastic either. My stylist loves me for that, ha!
Well, gotta go take a shower, have a great weekend everyone!
