GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE THAT WORK HARD...

THAT'S RIGHT!

TODAY I was officially offered A PROMOTION!

My boss told me last week it would be coming, but didnt want to believe it til it was in writing....SO TODAY I GOT IT, IN WRITING! My best friend was also promoted, and my other girlfriend was promoted a few weeks back.

Of course, I accepted!

Best part is, I get to stay in my same area, get the raise, and take on additional job duties. I'm so happy I could cry - because I love my boss, and didn't want to leave her or what I was doing :)

YAY! GO ME!

Also - officially going back to school 10/22 - I signed up for class today. I'm kinda excited now, because I think I'll learn a lot of great, usable information in this particular class. And, WOW, textbooks sure have gotten expensive since I was in college last time - unreal! It sucks, we have to pay for those up front and then get reimbursed. Thankfully the tuition never comes out of my pocket (yeah, I have a kick ass job that promotes bettering yourself!).

Also excited, dodged the overtime bullet this weekend - none of us are working. Thank heavens!

I'm starving, so I'm off to have some pizza rolls..and maybe a stiff drink to celebrate my accomplishment!
