I'm the QUEEN SLACKER...
..but only when it comes to blogging, as of late!
I've been quite busy since I returned from my truly heavenly much needed cleansing vacation. Seems that I needed it more than I imagined, which is a pretty big thing to say.
Since I got back about 3 weeks ago, I've incorporated some positive changes into my life - they were much needed. I think I was on a downward spiral and thank heavens I'm on the right track again.
I got myself a library card (I havent had a valid one in years), and started reading again. There are also a myriad of horror flicks out there that need to be seen by me, a complete nut about this sort of thing - and since I'm too cheap for Blockbuster, the library is the way to go.
I've started with a personal trainer. Its free through work, so how can I pass that up? If I can lose 15 lbs in 6 months and improve my health, it will be terrific. I also read a book called "good carbs, bad carbs," about the glycemic index. I'm trying to incorporate these dietary changes into my every day eating, and we'll see how that goes too. So true what they say, diet and exercise are the only way to change your body so you look and feel better and ARE healthy on the inside and out.
I've also registered to go back to school. Even though I have my 4 year degree, I need more accounting courses in order to qualify for the really good paying jobs. So, come late October, I'll have my nose in a book and my brain powered up for success.

I had multiple technical difficulties with my digital camera on my vacation, which started with me realizing, soon after our arrival, that I left my PICTURE CARD at home in the card reader...What a flipping dumbass I am. 3 weeks later, I finally have what I need to get the pictures off of my 1 GB Xd card. I just need to sort and edit them before I can share. Ugh. Some of them are really neat, I think I'll buy some large prints and hang them here in my computer room, which has a sea/fish theme. It will be super awesome.

I dont have big plans for the weekend, I really just want to relax. So later today, I'm going to the pool, and then mom and dad are having a fish fry. MMMMM. I'm gonna get my brows waxed in about an hour (I have a forest growing out of my forehead), and take some stuff to the thrift store (and of course, look around for new treasures). Somewhere I'll need to incorporate a cardio workout (listen to me, so dedicated!) and list some auctions...dang, I thought I wanted to relax!
Oh well, off to get some shit done and take it easy...
