Ice and headaches!

WTF...seriously! I went out last night and had ONE drink..I have the worst headache today! Hell I didnt even get a buzz! What's up with that!

The night was sort-of a bust - we went to our favorite white trash bar, nicknamed "The Rug" by us - the 1st of the month is prime time to visit - everyone can't wait to blow their welfare checks, the 80's hair (including mullets) makes great conversation - and their live bands are always good. Well, we get there and no band! The waitress said they didn't show up :( Lovely! So we started to wonder...as we were leaving, we noticed what we thought was rain was really FREEZING RAIN. As we passed underneath the highway overpass, we could see it was blocked off due to an accident.....we started to wonder if that was the BAND! Maybe they didn't show up because they're all in the ER!

To entertain ourselves in a bar with about 20 people (guess someone actually knew watched the weather forecast), we played video game golf...before we knew it, nearly every dude in the bar was surrounding us, watching us play. It was so funny! I was terrible. My girl beat me - terribly. Regardless, we had a blast. So, time to go elsewhere. We walked across the parking lot and there was this older guy...and before we knew it, BAM..he busted his ass and landed in the bushes (giving me a full view of his jellyroll in jeans that were too tight) - he slipped on the ice! Here's the best part..he was drunk off his ass and says "DAMNIT, THAT'S THE 3RD TIME TONIGHT!" DUDE! Dont you think that means you should be sittin' your ass down in one place and staying there? LOL..We laughed about that all darned night. When we got in my car, it was covered with ice - bad, bad news. We drove down the street and right next to our next destination, The Mill, there was a nasty car accident - neither car was drivable. We had to be extra careful walking inside. This bar was where we should have started the night..great music and attractive patrons!

We left and came back home - I cant believe I couldnt talk my girl into staying at my house. She lives 30 min away - we saw 2 accidents, and one guy bust his ass on the ice, and we had to wait for the ice to melt on my car every time we went someplace new...It was just plain dangerous outside and she wouldnt listen to me! Stubborn girl!

Oh - I turnedon the TV as soon as I got home too - hell we were under a WINTER STORM WARNING! How in the @#$# did I miss that shit? Ugh!

Did I mention my head hurts? grrrrr..
